Use ParaScreen however you want. Don't break laws. Don't redistribute it as your own.
By installing or using ParaScreen, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, please don't install it. If you already installed it and now disagree, you can uninstall by dragging the app to the Trash.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ParaScreen on Macs you own or control. This license lasts for as long as you comply with these terms.
Every screenshot, recording, and annotation you make with ParaScreen belongs to you. We never see it, store it, or claim any rights to it.
How we handle data (or rather, don't) is covered in the Privacy Policy. Short version: we collect nothing about your captures.
ParaScreen may notify you of new versions and let you install them. Updates may change features or remove things that don't work out. We'll note significant changes in the changelog.
ParaScreen is currently free during early access. When we introduce paid tiers, we'll:
ParaScreen is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do our best to ship bug-free software. When bugs slip through, we fix them as fast as we can. But we don't guarantee ParaScreen will be bug-free, always available, or compatible with every workflow.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ParaApp and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with ParaScreen — including lost captures, lost productivity, or data corruption. Our total liability will not exceed what you paid for ParaScreen (which, during early access, is zero).
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in the changelog and the "Last updated" date above will move forward. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute will be handled in the state where ParaApp is registered.
